Congratulations to Timothy Hicks of Post Falls on his catch-and-release state record Northern pike.

Timothy was fishing on Lake Pend Oreille on June 13 when he landed a 49.75-inch Northern pike. The Post Falls angler's pike beat out the previous catch-and-release record caught by Scott Blahnik in 2020. Timothy's pike was a mere 3/4 of an inch longer, earning him the top spot in the record fish books.

I've gone DEEP down the organic growing rabbit hole. I tried just peeking my head in, and mistakes were made. Using synthetic nutes all those years taught me the basics. This is another level. Just when you think you know N-P-K, macro, micro, etc. You get introduced to Gaia. To the earth, to mother nature. Symbiotic relationships of micro organisms, beneficial fungi, and true organic base amendments. The blood of the earth. I've learned so much, and I've only scratched the surface.
