It’s Vet Day!! These babies are heading to the vet later today for their first check up and vaccines before they are off on their next big adventure! But first: we decided to play in the mud this morning so I took the opportunity I was given and we had another bath day! Some enjoyed it more than others and some gave me this look the whole time. (That’s Odin, the Yellow collared male.) now we are sleeping before we pack up the car and head to the vet!

We have an ear up!! Blue Boy (now goes by Ghost) has his ear up this morning! German shepherd puppies ear go through all type of stages and just because it is up now does it mean it will be up tomorrow. Until they are done teething T 4 months, their ears will be all over the place. But isn’t he the cutest! I cannot wait to see the rest of them start to pop up.

They had fun cheering on the USA in the World Cup game today! They heard screaming, cheering, chanting and maybe a few squeals from me too! Now they are ready for bed! Hopefully they will have sweet dreams and sleep through the night tonight!

These little ones did so well last night! We went to bed in our crates at 10:30 and didn’t wake up until 6:30! We didn’t have a single accident and everyone immediately went outside to potty before coming in for breakfast. It’s all starting to click for them and I love to watch their brain put it all together and be so proud when they do it right! That is confidence I love to see growing!

It’s another Puppy Pick Day!! Today we have second pick for the boys coming out. Third pick is long distance so they will be picking with my help and then all our pups will be placed! Then we just have another two weeks before they head off! This week we will start working on a leash, car rides and will continue our crate training and exploration of new sites and sounds. We may be take a dip in the pool if the weather allows.

Next texture alert! We worked on rocks this morning before the rain hit. The pups got to play in the yard with big dogs and navigated a new texture under their feet. They all did great and were rewarded by a little bit of playtime in the water bucket and quick “snack” from mom. (They are fully weaned but they still like to nurse every once in while for comfort.) Now it’s nap time in the house while we get some much needed rain.

It’s hard to believe these babies are almost 6 weeks and getting ready to head out into the world!! First pick for the girls came today and I plan on picking my boy by Friday. Once I get the other picks scheduled I will be updating where everyone is going! I am so excited for Purple and her new family. I think it will be the perfect fit!
