Congrats to the two guys last night that killed some nice ones. One was a kids first deer (left) and the other was a 5 year history (right). These recoveries were made possible because of knowing their shot placement and backing out with signs that verified it.

*RUT UPDATE*
Within the last week, we've seen several bigger does being chased. As of last night, that amount has doubled. Does herded up are being split by the bucks chasing. The rain and wind didn't keep them from being on their feet. Monday activity didn't start until an hour before sunset. Last night, they were moving as early as 3pm (from our perspective). As always, when in doubt, back out.

If you do shoot one, ALWAYS pay attention to the placement AND the body language of the deer. It helps increase the percentage of the recovery.

Shoot straight and aim small!

This sweety is finally home after 6 days on the loose. 2 days of flying, located both evenings and we were finally able to corral her to return to her home with Dave Hill

After tracking him about 200 yards, they decided to back out and call Maverick Thermal Drone Services!! Was able to find him bedded in the ditch, went back this morning and the buck was expired. Awesome stud buck for Luke Boger!
