HOME-TO-HOME adoption. This dog is NOT at the shelter.
Odin is exactly one year old intact male Pitbull miniature boxer breed. He does need his one year vaccines.
He is full of love and enjoys cuddling! He is a good boy with loads of energy. He enjoys walks, but he could use more leash training.
He knows basic hand signals and commands, such as sit, wait, down, high five, and shake. Also if you say, “housekeeping”, he is thrilled to pick up goodies on the floor for you. His release word is “okay”. He is crate trained, but needs a sturdy kennel as he has been know to escape.
He has been around younger children his whole life; although I think he would benefit from having older children or adults in the home.
He is okay with other animals, if given time and space to meet them properly.
He enjoys walks and cuddling on the couch. When he is very happy and comfortable he enjoys laying on his back receiving back rubs from the floor. He becomes vocal when he wants outside, or has something to tell you.
He does have signs of fear aggression, so the right fit is important. He requires slow introductions to people and other pets. He is a dominant dog, and unfortunately due to this he had been under socialized. I believe with the right family, he is capable of having a successful life full of happiness and bringing much joy to his family.
