🥳Happy 7th Birthday, Everett! 🖤

This girl is not easy. Never has been, probably never will be. She likes to keep me on my toes, test every ounce of patience I have, and I might or might not have considered giving her back to the rescue she came from (more than once 😂)! I’ve often wondered how so much crazy was packed into her little body.

Evs is the kind of love you have to work for. The kind you have to earn. She teaches you patience, challenges you in ways you never expected, and reminds you that trust isn’t som**hing you’re owed — it’s som**hing you build.

And when you finally have it? When that trust is there and she lets you all the way in? There is absolutely nothing in the world better. ❤️

I may have missed her first couple years, and wish for the world she’d had a different start though I wouldn’t trade our journey for anything. Even on the days she makes me question every life choice that led me here.

We love you big 🥰

🖤 Five years of my wild child! 🖤

The dog who started it all. The reason behind the name Black Label Kennels and the one who got me started in the gun dog world.

We may only have a few years together, but this boy has my whole heart. He’s unapologetically himself, full of life, and has the kind of genuine, happy-go-lucky spirit that makes it impossible to have a bad day around him.

He’s also responsible for adding crackhead, m**h lab, feral, and unhinged to my vocabulary — and honestly, all in the best possible ways. 😂 He’s a wild child through and through, and I wouldn’t change a single thing about him.

Somehow, he was made exactly the way he was supposed to be, and exactly the way I needed him to be.

Happy 5th birthday Pope-Tart. So much love for this crazy soul. Wouldn’t trade him for anything. 🖤

🔥 BLK boys getting it done!🔥

Pope earned a Master pass this week at Southwestern Louisiana Retriever Club, making it through 6 series in 2.5 days! Incredibly proud of this boy! Big thanks to Mark Strickland Marsh Dog Kennels for handling him 🖤 There is no doubt Pope loves Mark as much as Mark loves him!

Simms was already entered before earning his HOF at Master Nationals, so he got to play, too — bringing home two more Master passes! I love spending time with this boy at the line!💪

Huge thank you to Southwestern Louisiana Retriever Club and the judges for putting on two challenging tests and giving these boys a chance to shine!

Three more Master passes and two very good boys. ❤️🐾🦆
