A big THANK YOU to all of our clients and patients who helped donate towards the Scaredy Cat K95K - thanks to you all, we were the top fundraising team this year! The staff dogs certainly brought many of our team along to run and to walk, and Dr. Messler's son was dubbed Youth Champion for being the first person under the age of 15 to finish the 5k! Here's some photos from a great day to enjoy and share with all of you.

We are so grateful to be able to go the extra mile to help animals in need!

Here at LVA, we love Halloween. And since it lands on a Saturday this year, when we'll be closed, we decided to celebrate the whole week with you all! You may see some of the staff in costume, and we fully encourage you to join the fun! Any pets who show up in costume are sure to get a treat. 🐶🐱🐾

THE SCAREDY CAT K95K IS THIS WEEKEND!

We have one more runner to announce... Piglet! Piglet was recently adopted into the LVA family and we are thrilled to have her join us this weekend. She is on a bit of a weight loss journey, too, so all the more reason to get those steps in 🐾

Funds raised will benefit the animal welfare programs of the MVMA charities and Travis Fund. Donations can be made via cash or check at the front desk today, or by Venmo to our manager, Sara (see the QR code on the poster!). Thank you to everyone who has helped us help pets in need!

This week is to honor the skill, dedication, and compassion Veterinary Technicians bring to veterinary medicine every day. We simply could not do what we do without them!

We will be closed between 12 noon and 1:00 pm on Monday, October 19th, 2026 for some computer integration. Please plan accordingly if you need to pick up prescription medications or food, or drop off your pet's samples. We apologize any inconvenience this may cause and we greatly appreciate your understanding.

We will be CLOSED on Monday, October 12th, 2026 in observance of Columbus Day.

We will ALSO be CLOSED between 12 noon and 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 for training on something exciting coming.

Please plan accordingly if you need to pick up prescription medications or food, or if you need to drop off sample for your pet. We apologize for the inconvenience.

MEET THE RUNNERS:

We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to the LVA family: Dr. Walsh's new puppy, Brinkley!

Brinkley is all things happy, and all things puppy. He loves toys, he loves going outside, he loves cuddles, and he loves people (ESPECIALLY his dad!). Brinkley has idiopathic epilepsy, but he certainly does not let that dampen his mood at all. We are smitten with this happy-go-lucky guy and are so happy he's part of our team!

We are still collecting donations for the 5K - funds raised will benefit the animal welfare programs of the MVMA charities and Travis Fund. Donations can be made via cash, check, or venmo to our manager, Sara (see the QR code on the poster!).
