Changing Leashes Rescue & Rehab Inc. We are a non-profit registered 501(c)3 public charity. Our mission is to rescue and rehab animals in need. We work with adopters on the east coast.

We help take them in and when they are ready we help them find their forever home and family.

Blue, the shihtzu is 6 years old. Needs someone who is around alot as he has anxiety when left alone. We need to get him into the vet to find out why the little guy is having periodic seizures so need a foster in the Lexington County area. Our vet is in West Columbia.

The red/cream husky mix is Rufus, he has been in the county shelter for quite some time and needs out. Pulling him saves 2....him and one off of their "to be killed" list this week!!! Rufus is a super friendly dog but like a husky not getting enough attention right now, he has high energy. He definitely can use some manners. He is dog friendly and in the play yard with other dogs often at the shelter. Mostly comparable size and ones that match his energy level.

The husky/shep mix boys that are left, 1 was adopted. They are fun and energetic. 16 weeks old and completely vaccinated.

The Dutch shep mix babies....Arya and Blitz are left and really could benefit from some one on one time with a foster to break their shell. They are also around 4-5 months old.

The black lab mix is in the same shelter as Rufus. He is about 7 years old and will need to start heartworm treatment when he gets out.

All of these babies need fosters but if you are interested in adopting one of them please let us know.

These babies are all waiting for their forever homes and families.

About 4-5 months old.

Husky/GSD mix boys and the other 3 are Dutch Shepherd mix.the cream is Arya (female) and the 2 tans are Sawyer (female) and Blitz (male).

We are holding meet/adopts this week. Get on the schedule to adopt one and take one home today!!

Submit an application to adopt, once approved we can get you scheduled to meet (does not mean you have to adopt just need to be approved to adopt before we can schedule you to adopt.

All are up to datebon vaccines. Dutch sheps have been spayed/neutered already. The Husky mixes are pending a scheduled date at the clinic but will be.
