Our sweet Teddy is still seeking his new forever home. Teddy was being transported from FL to a SC different rescue that ghosted him upon arrival. We Are Zeus stepped in and he has been in foster with us since.

He has been with us since late last year. He deserves to have his own sweet spot. He is a happy and sweet 5-yo German Shepherd. Not only is he sweet and gentle, he makes a great watch dog. He sounds off when someone is at the door making sure you know there are visitors.

He has been playful and gentle with children. He is crate and house trained with good behavior in the house. He likes rides and will jump in as quickly as you can open the car door.

He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. He is super chill and wants to please you.

🚨 One last try! He Is NOT safe! Foster or Adopt me! 🐾 Let me tell you about this cutie pie! Buddy, a boxer/mastiff mix, is 4/5 years old and 80 pounds. 🤭

Buddy was found as a stray in the sticks of Saluda over a year ago. The woman that found him could not keep him so a family took him in and made him their own.

He has lived the last year and half with a family with grandchildren, dogs and lots of people around. He LOVES the kiddos ❤️ of all ages. He is a gentle giant and loves their attention.

😞 Sadly, things changed for Buddy recently. His dad owner passed away and his widow is now also facing caring for her adult child with an unexpected diagnosis. She is physically not able to care for him. He needs a new home NOW! The only choice the owner is facing is to euthanize because a shelter will do it as well and she doesnt want that for him. Not one person has resoonded to our pleas and offered to foster or adopt. ‼️ So before you blame, help place him.

He has been through so much and will be a great addition to a family that will give him patience to adjust to all the changes and losses. He did well with the transition into his recent home when he was found, so this may be easier than most. He is super sweet. ♥️

Buddy gets along with other dogs. He does well with females and may do well with altered males his size. He and an unaltered male got into a tussle over a bunny, and when Buddy wouldn’t let go, his eye was injured. He has lost vision in that eye, yet he is in no pain. The vet recommended not to remove his eye, as it would be less painful and traumatic, and it also tracks with his other eye. He is healed and it gives him no trouble. The little scratch below his eye is a new boo-boo and it is healing.

This goofy couch 🥔 is a BIG BABY who pretends to be a guard dog. Remember the movie The Sand Lot? That’s Buddy! He is low key and loves cuddles and belly rubs. He will snuggle you in bed to make sure you don’t fall out or get cold 🥶.

He will do best in a home without cats or small dogs. He would love to have children there to give him attention. Obviously he loves treats. 😆 He is on a mission to lose a few pounds and asks that you go slow and not cut his treats out too quickly!

Buddy is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and in good health. He does well on his leash, is house trained, non-destructive, and doggy door smart.

We urgently need fosters for 6 dogs that need a place during transition. We have no place for them during the next two weeks.

💥💥ONE in particular is returning from foster training TOMORROW and she should not be placed in kennels, as we do not want to set her back.

❎ She has been sponsored to provide her foster with all her needs ❎

You remember Marty? 🩷 She has been with We Are Zeus or a year with a foster. She needs a new foster and went through training to correct some behavior (habits really). It has been successful and we need someone to foster her for a few weeks.

She is good with other dogs, kids and people. She knows place, sit, stay, leave it, no, come, off, down and more. She is super eager to please. 🐾 She is house and crate trained and does well on her leash.

She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

She can be fostered in NC, SC, or GA. Other locations are considered for adoption and foster-to-adopt.

Talk about STAR 💫 Dog! This is Lacy, formerly known as Dream. She was pulled along with her brother from an e-list in NC last year. She was adopted by an amazing couple that has to make the gut wrenching decision to find her a new home. It’s no fault of Lacy. The family has a new disability issue and she would be best in a new home.

Lacy is a 2 years-old tiny but mighty terrier mix. She is the most PRECIOUS little girl in the 🌎! She is a paws on dog. She HUGS🤗 and gives gentle 😘.

She had a companion for so long (Diesal) that when she became the only pet, her person became her companion. She will go where you go. She would make a great therapy or service dog. 🐕‍🦺

She is about 36 pounds, and sweet, calm, affectionate, smart, and gentle! She loves walks and car rides. She is house and crate trained, good in crowds and on her leash, gets along with other dogs ✅ people ✅ kids ✅ and cats ✅. She has never met a stranger. She would do well as a single pet or a family pup.

Who else can say they have a terrier that’s lap dog size that hugs and holds on tight, and wont let go? 🥰

Lacy is spayed, microchipped, up on vaccines, on preventatives, heartworm negative and healthy.

Remember Fancy (aka Winter) and her troop of puppies we took in right after birth on December 5, 2023? Mom was hit by a car and we had to get her major spinal surgery to survive. She did fantastic!❤️

This is Bear! He’s the bestest boy!
One of her handsome 🎩 babies that had the rarest of colors. A deep dark chocolate. He was adopted and loved from the time of bottle feeding.

Bear has landed back with us, at no fault of his own. He been separated from his sibling and is adjusting with time. He has settled in and calmed better than we ever expected. ❤️‍🩹

Bear is a hound and lab mix. Mama was a beautiful girl and daddy(s)? Apparently a gorgeous shiny lab, a golden retriever and someone else. 😆 His fluffy multicolored sibling was quickly re-adopted, leaving this gorgeous dark boy alone. ♠️ Black dog syndrome is real.

He is a short guy weighing about 60 pounds. He a silly boy that loves to be playful and then lap dog with you. He is very attached to his people. He loves being with you.

He is kennel and house trained. If left alone, he prefers his kennel so he doesn’t get anxious. He loves other dogs and kids. We are not sure about cats as he hasn’t met any yet.

He loves to please. He is treat motivated and loves happy and excited praise. 🦴 He is good on his leash and loves his walk 🐕 and play time outside. He is always ready for a car ride! 🚗

He will do well with other dogs or solo. Since he has always had a partner, he would love to have a friend. If he is solo, he will definitely turn to you for the attention he misses from his friend. So be prepared for lots of hugs. 🤗

Bear is smart, happy and lovable. He is heart worm negative, neutered, microchipped, vetted and current on vaccines and preventatives.

Bear is in need of a foster to give him his home life back. He is available for foster, adoption, or foster-to-adopt.

Blu is still waiting! His story started out sad and we want to lead it into an amazing forever.🐾
He is only one year old. He is one of nine puppies that survived a cruelty case. It’s just him and his two brothers, Kane and Thor, left to find homes. He’s available for foster and adopt.

This handsome 🎩 boy is a super sweet APBT. 🥰 He’s 48 pounds and medium, lean build. He’s still a puppy.

He is friendly and playful. He loves everything and anyone! He does well with other dogs ✅ people ✅ kiddos ✅ cats ✅. He just loves all walks of life!

Just like his mama, he is HAPPY, agile, and super intelligent. Being bottle fed since he was 3 weeks old, he loves being held and touch is his favorite thing next to bouncing after balls 🎾 and splashing in 💦 !

He stays near when he is off lead and loves walks and playing chase. He does well in the car 🚘 and is house and kennel trained.💡 Being treat driven, he is easy to train as you desire. He LOVES 💦 and car rides! Don’t let him see the hatch up or doors open on your ride. He will storm straight in!

He comes to you super healthy, neutered, microchipped, vaccines current, on preventatives, and fully vetted with lots of hugs and kisses 😘 to share.

Foster or adopt me! 🐾 Happy is just that, HAPPY! This sweet boy has been with us a year now. He so needs his own forever home!

Happy is a 2.5 year old 55 pound, staffy mix. He was pulled by WAZ off the e-list in NC last May. He has been in a loving foster home that helped prepare him for his future. With no fault of his own, they are unable to care for him as fosters any longer and he needs a new place right away. Their work schedules have gone to 12 hour shifts and he does not do well kenneled long periods of time. They know it’s not fair to him and they only want the best for him, the same as WAZ.

Happy ❤️ to play. He is goofy and will run and jump and play hide and seek with his people until they quit. He loves being a couch potato🥔 by day and a natural blanket warmer by night.

He does well with people, kids and some dogs. ☑️ He is dog selective and will do better by himself. He may do well with a submissive female. He’s picky on who he wants to share with his humans.

Happy is house and crate trained, does great on his leash and learns quickly. He’s wants to please you because he knows it comes with treats! 🦴 He stays washed and groomed and has gotten used to it. He still doesn’t like you clipping his nails without help. It tickles! 👻

Foster or Adopt Rose.🌹 This little munchkin is a cute mess. She is super athletic and loves to play and run. She loves walks and rides in the car, and is a zoomies expert level 10!

She was saved from the e-list along with her mother. She has been with us a year and needs her own forever. We are out of space and need to make room. She would be a perfect lady to move on to a new foster.

Kiddos are ok with Rose. She does well with most dogs with proper introduction, as she just wants to play. She also loves people so much.

Rose is a 2-year-old short stack weighing about 43 pounds. She is an APBT mix with all the huggable and loyal traits expected.

She is house and crate trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped and fully vetted.

She would love to make you her new favorite person and have a couch to potato. 😊 She is in Lexington, SC, and transport is available.

Foster or adopt me! 🐾 Boone is a big ol baby! He came to us from a shelter turned in as stray. He has been with us a long time and we just can’t figure out why.

Boone is a sweet and goofy boy. He is gentle and affectionate, super playful and loves to play with kids and his people. He is good with other dogs, and with cats as far as we have seen. He will go into HOT Pursuit after a squirrel! 🐿️ 😆

Boone is a 2-years-old lab/whym mix weighing in at about 70 pounds of cuddles!🥰 He is microchipped, neutered, vaccinated, fully vetted and healthy as can be.

He does great on trails, loves car rides, is house and crate trained and does extremely well in his crate. That’s is quiet place and he keeps it clean. He loves a soft couch being the world’s biggest 🥔!

Boone would love to be in a home as a foster preparing for adoption. He would do well with a busy family with children and dogs, or as your only child. He is a love bug like no other.

He is a gorgeous chick magnet too. Just sayin’. 😉

We still have so many of our dogs that have been with us a long time. Some have been with us almost two years now. They are not broken! They are ready for their own homes and deserve that new life. 🐾

We cannot step in and help new dogs until we find proper homes for the ones in wait.
