This week has been an emotional one for us. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to one of our rehabilitation dogs and help them cross the rainbow bridge peacefully. Moments like that are never easy.
At the same time, we also experienced a beautiful reminder of why we do this work—one of our dogs finally found his perfect home. Maverick originally came to us with significant insecurities and behaviors that required time, patience, and consistent training to work through. Over time, he grew into a more confident and balanced dog, learning how to navigate the world in a positive way.

Seeing him leave with a family that truly understands and appreciates him is incredibly rewarding. We are so grateful that Maverick has found the loving home he deserves. 🥹

For those who have been following Kane’s rehabilitation journey, you know that he initially presented with fear-based aggression toward other dogs. As a young adult, Kane was attacked, and that traumatic experience significantly impacted his perception of and response to other dogs.
We have dedicated extensive time and structured training to helping Kane understand that other dogs are not a threat. A major focus has been building his trust in us to take the lead, advocate for his personal space, and ensure he feels safe in social situations. By consistently providing clear guidance and positive, controlled exposures, we’ve been able to create more successful and reassuring experiences for him.
After his morning run today, Kane was calm, relaxed, and comfortably spending time alongside our personal dog, Aida 🫶

Molly had an excellent obedience session today. By providing clearer communication, we were able to address and refine a few areas where she needed support. Her owners have done an outstanding job laying a strong foundation, and their commitment is evident in her progress. Molly is a highly motivated student with exceptional food drive and a great work ethic.
Go Molly !
