We are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Professional Groomer to join our vibrant pet care team immediately. Responsibilities
*Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each pet’s breed and individual needs
*Handle dogs and other small animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort during grooming procedures
*Restrain animals safely using appropriate techniques to facilitate grooming while minimizing stress or discomfort
*Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols
*Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, health considerations, and aftercare instructions
*Assist with pet handling tasks such as dog training or basic behavioral management when needed
Skills
*Proven 1+ year experience in pet grooming with certification as a Professional Groomer required
*Strong animal handling skills across various breeds and temperaments
*Knowledge of dog training techniques preferred
*Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet care best practices
*Ability to lift heavy pets safely and perform physical tasks involved in grooming routines
*Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and team members
*Ability to work as a team and maintain exceptionally high standards of care
