Today made ride number 12 for 2025! My goal is 52 rides and I had a slow start with winter but making quick progress for April.
Making time is my biggest challenge, but 20 minutes counts, right? Today I hopped on Texas Pete who is a fun boy but I could feel that big energy brewing, so we stuck to an easy walk/trot. He had some really lovely moments! Tex will be offered for sale soon and will make someone a fantastic partner. 🐴

Texas Pete is a 15 hand 4 year old QHx. He can be ridden western or English. Excellent trail horse, has a solid base but still considered green bc he is 4 and can be a little zesty when the mood hits (nothing nasty, he simply needs a qualified rider who is confident to work through those moments). He does best with one consistent rider who he can bond with. Tex has been ridden regularly for the last 18 months and would excel at games, low level dressage, trail riding and being your best friend. He loves people and stands well for the farrier and vet. 🐴❤️
