Emma and Oliver are both in the 4H Horse and Pony Club and are having the annual cookout fundraiser this Saturday!

We are still seeking donations for the auction that will be followed by dinner. If you would like to donate an item or basket, we will be taking items up until doors open!

I don’t usually promote businesses on our taxidermy site that isn’t related to taxidermy but three years ago my son and my dad both got Aussies from her and she’s got more ready to go! She has minis and toy Aussie doodles which my daughter will be getting one soon! If you or anyone you know is in the market for a puppy go check her out!

Oliver didn’t do too bad opening weekend! If you all were successful also bring them down to us. We’re open 9-8 all week. We’re filling up fast but as of now we’re still taking in heads.

Rambo’s going to the Auction tomorrow! 🥩Come on down and bid on him. Auction starts at 6:15. Oliver’s put so much work into him that he won the Rate of Gain contest by putting on 537lbs in 132 days!!

Something to think about…

The average price of Beef is $8.50lb which would be $7,145/steer.

Come buy a steer at a county fair!

If the average price was 1.92/lb on steer $2496
+ $600 butcher= $3096/ steer or $4.73lbs

If you’re willing to pay $7,145 to support Walmart and Tyson why would you not spend that to support a local youth?!

🎡 It’s Fair Time!! Come and show some support to all these kids who’ve been working so hard all year for this one week! Oliver has a steer and Emma has two horses. Stop on by and say hi! We’ll be down here at the 4-H Clark County Fairgrounds all week!

Oliver was able to win first place again at the Kentucky Taxidermist Association this weekend bringing home another blue ribbon and the Eaton award for youth!! We couldn’t be more proud!

Oliver won first place for youth!!! He also ended up winning the Horizon award which is given to a first time competitor that scores the highest points regardless of division.
