A special shout out to LR Jim from this past week. Not only did he rock around the Nursery courses laying down consistent runs, but he stepped up to Open for the first time at New Slate trial.

The video is of his Nursery 3 run from Rush Creek; This run was special because the young dogs got to run the Open course. We see so many glimpses of Sam in Jim and we are so thankful to have this son of Sam to continue the legacy ❤️

After a long Spring of no trialing, the LongRidge dogs showed up ready to prove themselves at both the New Slate and Rush Creek trials this past week. The results (below) speak for themselves!

We are so proud of these young dogs and how they showed up this week. Now for a much deserved rest before our next trials.

Exciting news!!!
Brew is officially a ROM ABCA member!

Huge shoutout to Shane and Brew for their hard work and tenacity in navigating the ROM process.

For our non-sheepdog friends, ROM or Register on Merit, is for border collies that are not able to be registered with the ABCA (American Border Collie Association) due to lack of pedigree information.

We look forward to seeing what they can do at this year’s Bluegrass Classic coming up in May! If you’re in the Lexington area May 14th-18th consider checking out the competition hosted at Masterson Station park.
