Only problem with a freezer full of blackberries is I can't stop baking!? Eating them never seems to be an issue though... ;-)

Bodie, as always, amazes me! Last night his manners were put to the test and he did AWESOME! I mentioned a secret project a few days back, well.. Bodie and I were asked to crash a wedding as part of a practical joke for the bride & groom. This involved a bit of travel time, hanging out patiently until it was our turn (without making our presence known), walking on leash, wearing his custom made goat-sized yarmulke, being lovingly mauled by both children (and adults), LOTS of photos and then being walked right into the center of the party, up to the bride and groom through a crowd of people cheering and celebrating. For a goat who has never been in a situation at all like this before he was SUCH a good boy! Not a peep out of him all night, he was calm, happy to be getting all this attention and just the sweetest he could be! Bodie was surely the star of the night and I couldn't be prouder of my sweet boy ♥

I've been working on a new project the past few days and while I cant share all the details yet (wouldn't want to ruin the surprise) Im having way too much fun doing this and had to share something!? Bodie and I have been hired to crash a party this weekend and the best part.. he has to wear a yarmulke for the festivities ;-) So yes, Ive spent the past few days making and figuring out how to fit a yarmulke on a goat!? Hasn't everyone done that? ;-) Thankfully my sweet boy could care less and just loves the attention...

Im such a slacker!? (lol) Been a busy month but all is well... Had some illnesses (only human, animals are all fine), some birthdays, went camping... just busy doing summer "stuff." But we're all good & Ill try to share some more recent photos soon! :)

Oh, the farm life... nothing like waking up at 5:30 am to a herd of frantically screaming goats only to find that the little ones have figured out how to open their gate!? Thankfully the rest of the herd was watching and were happy to let me know the boys were out... so I got to start my day with some early morning goat cuddling :) With Bunk curled up at my feet, Bodie half in my lap and Omar sneaking in for some love, I had to forgive my boys for my very early Sunday morning alarm ;-)

Seems its been a rough couple days for the young wildlife here on the farm... first we "catch" this young fawn when he/she runs into a open, empty chicken coop and then a nest of baby bird falls and five little ones need rescuing. Im happy to report that we were able to release the fawn (unharmed) and the babies were placed gently back in the nest as mama bird watched on. All is well again :)
