IT'S GIVING TUESDAY!!
As we celebrate this special day of generosity, we want to share just one story of many, that shows why your support means so much to American Maltese Association Rescue.

Many of you have been following the story of Munchkin, the Maltese who was found running for her life on an upstate NY road. She was saved by one woman who heroically got out of her vehicle and grabbed her before she was hit and given to her friend, Tammy, who is an animal advocate. Tammy called us about taking her into AMAR and of course we did. She named her Munchkin and she was in awful shape with a big hernia hanging under her, a mammary mass, a mouth full of rotten teeth, but a spirit to live. We think someone tossed her out the door when they found out the cost of fixing what was wrong. No one posted for her or responded to posts about her.

Munchkin had her hernia fixed, the mass removed (luckily was non-cancerous) and yesterday, her dental. She needed 15 teeth removed and only has 9 left, but we know she feels so much better without all that bacteria. She's so resilient.

Pablo Ponce is available TODAY for adoption!
This adorable, teeny tiny boy has been great with kids under 3yrs old, is underweight at around 6lbs (should probably be 9-10lbs) and walks well on a leash!
He is around 2yrs old. His adoption fee is $150.
That includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines, and pet license.
