🐾 Meet Cassia – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Peaceful Home 🐾

Cassia is a 6-year-old spayed female with the kindest heart and the sweetest soul. This beautiful girl has been through a lot and is currently feeling overwhelmed in the shelter environment. She’s quiet, affectionate, and just wants a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe again. She is also current on all vaccines and for the month of October her adoption fee is waived!

Meet Bailey! This gorgeous girl originally came to our shelter in February along with her two littermates. Bailey was fortunate to be adopted, but it wasn't a good match. Sadly two months later she was returned due to the family stating that when crated she would growl at the children. Bailey came back a different dog. She was very fearful and timid. Between an amazing volunteer and several dedicated staff members Bailey has been getting lots of one-on-one time and we are seeing improvements! She still has a ways to go and our dream would be for her to find a loving home where someone will be patient and she will blossom!
Bailey is an eleven month old Spayed Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. She is heartworm negative, on preventatives, and is current on all vaccines. Bailey LOVES other dogs as well! Please stop by and meet this precious girl. She is just asking for a chance❤️

We are here at Springdale’s National Night Out right now until 8 tonight! We (me and my adoption baby of 7 years this week) are hanging out with other Lexington County agencies and local businesses having a GREAT time!

Meet Constance, a beautiful 2-year-old soul who has spent 146 long days waiting in the shelter for someone to notice her. She's sweet, smart, and full of love—but she's still here. Watching families come and go. Watching others find their forever.

Constance is selective with other dogs, and we know that can make her search a little harder. But once she trusts you, she’s a total heart-stealer. She sits politely and even spins for treats—just hoping to impress someone enough to take her home.

She doesn’t deserve to be overlooked. Not anymore.

*ADOPTED!!!!!!!*

Meet Archie. This sweet face is having an extremely hard time in the shelter. He originally came here in June as a stray. Like many others, his owner never came looking for him. We of course, fell in love with him. Being kenneled doesn't always agree with some dogs. He has become anxious and is losing weight. He has also gotten into several disagreements with other dogs and this is not like him at all. Archie is the sweetest, happiest guy here. But his behaviors are breaking down and we are desperate to find a loving home for him!
Archie is a little over a year old and we have him as an English Bulldog mix. He is heartworm negative, neutered, microchipped, and is current on all vaccines. PLEASE consider stopping by to meet Archie and consider giving him a chance💙

Our Fall adoption event is now happening! Please stop on by and meet our amazing pups that are available for adoption. Renovations begin next week and that will leave us short 18 kennels for four weeks! Every pet adopted will save another life❤️

🚨🚨We will be renovating a section of kennels that are LONG overdue in order to provide improved housing for animals in our care. However, we are FULL!!!🚨🚨In an effort to encourage adoptions and to free up space we are waiving all adoption fees beginning Saturday, October 4th through Friday, October 31st! Every pet adopted saves another life!

🐾Every dog adopted is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered, HW negative, and is on preventative care.🐾

If you have been thinking of adding a furry family member, then now is the time! Please spread the word and we very much appreciate all of the help that our community has to offer!🧡💛

Woofstock 2025 was so much fun! We are as always honored to be a part of such an amazing event!
