📧: [email protected] The dogs will be able to relax in a balanced and monitored environment with other dogs, while safely socializing in small play groups. They will have daily physical & mental enrichment, such as pack walks on our acres of
land, exploring, swimming, and some good old fashioned fetch!
*While in my care, pack members will also be learning 3 important methods: Leash Work, Place Work & Crate Work. It is especially important to get all pack members comfortable with the basics of these methods as it will make their stay with me more relaxing and enriching. This type of structure is what makes in-home boarding & daycare different from a traditional facility!*
Below is a small description of each method.
- Leash Work: Loose leash walking (no pulling) during walks.
- Place Work: A command that teaches your dog to go to a specific place (Place mat or bed) and stay. This is a great way to redirect your dog and give them their own safe, relaxing outlet to have when energy or emotions are high.
- Crate Work: Pack members will be crated for bedtime. A dog's crate should be their safe zone, and they should look forward to getting cozy in their "dens"! If your dog is not familiar with crate work, I will work with them to associate their crates with comfort and rewards. Please email or direct message me with any questions.
