Two emergency cystotomy surgeries, one day, one dedicated team. 🩺🐾

Last week, Dr. B performed TWO emergency cystotomy surgeries during pets’ on their sick visits with us. Both patients came in uncomfortable and in pain, showing signs of urinary blockage caused by bladder stones a serious condition that can quickly become life-threatening if left untreated.

Thanks to quick action, thorough diagnostics, and immediate surgical care, both pets received the treatment they urgently needed. 💙

If your pet is straining to urinate, having accidents, showing blood in the urine, or acting uncomfortable, don’t wait these can be signs of a urinary emergency.

We’re grateful to help pets feel better and get back home to their families safely. 🐶🐱✨

A little discharge can be a sign of something much more serious. This sweet girl came to us not feeling well after recently finishing her heat cycle. Dr.Bathina diagnosed her with pyometra, a severe and life-threatening uterine infection that requires immediate treatment.

She underwent emergency surgery the very same day, and we are happy she is now on the road to recovery ❤️🐾

Pyometra can progress quickly and may become fatal if left untreated. Signs to watch for include:
• Vaginal discharge
• Lethargy or weakness
• Loss of appetite
• Vomiting or increased thirst
• Swollen abdomen

Spaying is the best prevention for pyometra and helps protect pets from this dangerous condition. If you notice any unusual symptoms after your pet’s heat cycle, don’t wait to have them examined.
