I lived with him for 19 years. My dog, my friend, my faithful companion through life.
He was old, his body ached – arthritis made walking difficult for him. But he was still there... with me.

The water was the only thing that brought him relief. So I carried him to the lake every day. I just stood there, motionless, just so he could sleep in peace – without pain.

I couldn't heal him, but I could give him this: my closeness, my gentleness, my love. Until the end.
Because when you truly love, you stay – even in silence, even in pain.
