Meet Brad Phillips – Owner of Puppy Steps Training

Hi, I’m Brad! My journey with dog training began back in 2008 with my first dog, Jake. As a school project, I trained him to be my hunting companion, and that experience sparked a passion that has shaped my life ever since.

In 2016, I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Natural Resources, focusing on wildlife—something that ties perfectly to my love for the outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, backpacking, or playing baseball, I’ve learned that having a well-trained dog by your side makes everything better.

At Puppy Steps Training, I’ve made it my mission to help families bring home confident, well-trained puppies. I’ve put countless hours into building a top-quality facility and working with incredible trainers to make sure every puppy has the best start in life. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a pup thrive in a loving home and creating lifelong memories with their new family.
