Protect your dog from canine parvovirus, a highly contagious disease affecting the GI and immune systems.

Watch for signs like vomiting, bloody diarrhea, lethargy, and loss of appetite. Early diagnosis with f***l testing and immediate veterinary care are essential. Severe cases require intensive treatment and hospitalization, so prompt action can make all the difference. Vaccination is the best prevention. Keep your furry friend safe—consult your vet at first sign of symptoms! 🐶💉

Kitten season is here, and while adorable, it brings new challenges for shelters. 🐱💕

Vulnerable kittens under 4 weeks need round-the-clock care—feeding, warmth, socialization.

Volunteers are crucial in giving these tiny lives a fighting chance.
Want to help? Learn how you can become a kitten-season hero and make a real impact this spring! If you find a litter outdoors, ensure they’re truly abandoned before acting. For orphaned kittens, never give milk—call your local shelter or ACO for guidance.🌸

Brachycephalic breeds like Bulldogs, Pugs, and Shih Tzus are especially prone to heat stress during summer 🌡️.

Their short muzzles make cooling through panting difficult, risking overheating. Keep them cool, well-hydrated, and avoid intense play on hot days. Walk early morning or evening, take shorter walks, and use a harness instead of a collar to reduce airway pressure. Providing a cooling pad or indoor activities helps maintain comfort. Regular vet visits ensure their breathing stays healthy. 🐶💧

Is your senior dog showing signs of loss of balance or coordination? 🐶 Vestibular disease, often called 'old dog' vestibular syndrome, affects many older pups and mimics human vertigo. It originates in the inner ear, leading to dizziness and movement issues. While the cause can sometimes be unknown, prompt veterinary care is essential for recovery. Have you noticed any unusual head tilts or stumbling?

🐶Symptoms of Vestibular Disease in Dogs🐶

The most common symptoms of vestibular disease in dogs include:
-Head tilting
-Walking in circles
-Lack of coordination
-Stumbling or staggering (ataxia)
-Rapid eye movement (nystagmus)
