With this big storm coming please be mindful of your pets. If you have to take your dog out for a walk or to the bathroom please put it on a leash and suck it up! It's going to be cold, but if your dog gets loose, the temperatures are going to be unforgiving. Do the right thing, and have food on hand for your pets, not just for you. Keep them as warm as you would want to be. They may even be able to give you some great warmth. Don't forget about your indoor and outdoor kitties. On Saturday night, get them in the house, as much as they want to go out, don't let them. It's not about the snow it's about the temperatures. For any strays that come, please be sure to put out water and refill it when it gets frozen, water is really important for animals during freezing temperatures. If you have food to give, please put it under a sheltered area. Provide shelter is you can. This is a cold blast that nobody is ready for, especially outdoor animals that are defenseless.
