DRNM needs your help.

We do not have a facility to house our available Dobermans and, as with most rescue organizations, approved fosters are very limited. When our fosters are full and we find a Doberman in a dire situation, we board them with a trusted trainer where they receive excellent care, grooming when necessary and training as needed.

In 2024, DRNM spent over $9600 to board Dobermans for which we had no fosters. Some were short stays, but we also had several long term stays (90-200+ days) which included substantial vet care. We're happy to report that all of the dogs we boarded in 2024 have been safely adopted into loving homes.

Sadly, our current budget does not allow for boarding, especially long-term. This severely impacts our ability to pull Dobermans from dire situations. If we can't house a dog, we can't pull the dog. Would you consider helping us rebuild our boarding fund?

Donations may be made via our page, website (www.dobermanrescuenm.org) or, if you prefer to write a check, please mail to P.O. Box 26582, Albuquerque, NM 87125.

Thank you! ❤

Pet owners urged to re-register pets ASAP after Save This Life microchip company closes, leaving pets untraceable. Turns out this company closed in January and didn't notify anyone they were closing. You can register your pet with some of the pet chip companies below or with Free Pet Registry: https://www.freepetchipregistry.com/

Whatever company you register your microchip with make sure they are on the AAHA list. You can find a list of microchip companies with links here: https://bit.ly/42QrAXu

I'm registering with Free Pet Registry and one of the others on the list.
