Ummm… excuse me?! 🤔 I STILL haven’t received ANY adoption applications?! I’m sorry, WHAT?! 😂 This can’t be right!

I’m an easygoing, super sweet gal who doesn’t ask for much! Just give me a cushy dog bed 🛏️, meals topped with my arthritis meds 💊, and a short stroll to the yard. Easy peasy! I’m basically the definition of low-maintenance luxury. 💅🏻😂

🐾 SAMMY & BAXTER HAVE A SPECIAL HALLOWEEN WISH! 🐾

Sammy and Baxter, our favorite senior bonded pair, have picked out the perfect pumpkin with a very clear message: Adopt Us!

These sweet boys are more ready than ever to find their forever home together. Sammy (12-13 yrs, Shih Tzu mix) is the happy-go-lucky fetch enthusiast, and Baxter (13-14 yrs, Schnauzer-Poodle mix) is a devoted professional lap dog once he feels safe. Both are housebroken, good with kids and other dogs, and minimally vocal. They may have different personalities, but they belong together.

As senior dogs, they do have a few health considerations that their new family will need to support. Sammy manages IVDD and Baxter takes medication for anxiety, so they need a gentle home with minimal furniture jumping and someone home often. They promise to return all that extra care with so much love! ❤️

We must find a home for these brothers as a pair. Applications are being accepted at seniordoghaven.org from adopters within one hour of Wilmington, DE. 🎃

🐾 Foster Update: Dave 🐾

Dave hit a big milestone on Saturday by attending his very first event! He was so brave throughout the day! But as you can see, he was a little overwhelmed by all the action and felt safest in his fosters arms.

Tomorrow, he is heading back to the vet for his rechecks, including lab work, an ear check, and his final vaccines. Please send Dave your best vibes, love, and good thoughts for a smooth vet visit!
