Levelland Animal Friends We are a group of caring folks who are trying to make a difference in Levelland pets' lives. **We are not the Levelland Animal Shelter.

We are a non-profit (501c3) organization. In 2014, Levelland Animal Friends was begun as a group of volunteers trying to make a difference in the life of shelter pets, abandoned and abused animals, and strays in our community. We volunteered at the Levelland Animal Shelter for many years trying to make the lives of the 'kids' a little bit easier by showing them love and compassion. We diligently n

etworked these pets trying to find them forever homes and/or foster homes. Our primary mission changed in 2025 to focus more on spay and neuter education and helping the community in funding their pets' spay and neuter surgeries if assistance is needed. We also are focused more on helping pets in our community. Our biggest hope is that in the current pet overpopulation crisis , we will be able to educate the public on the responsibility of pet ownership, the need for all pets to be spayed and neutered, and to end backyard breeding which is one of the main culprits in the population explosion of all shelters and rescues across our country. Our dream is to see all pets in forever, loving homes - no pet needs to be abandoned, abused or neglected. We plan on working toward our goal of seeing all pets cared for and loved!

He is very sweet and energetic. He would make a great walking partner and best buddy. He probably would do best as the only dog in the family. ADOPTED 8-23-25!! YAY!!

This is SACHA! (Shelter # 08020) She is an about 6 month old Staffordshire Terrier mix female that is available for adoption through the Levelland Animal Shelter. She came into the shelter as a stray, no one came to claim her so she is now ready for adoption. She currently weighs about 12 lbs., so she will probably weigh about 25 lbs when fully grown. She is a very happy girl and so sweet. She has her first parvo combo (DAPP) vaccine. This is REESE! (Shelter # 08028) She is an about 2 year old Bulldog mix female that is available for adoption through the Levelland Animal Shelter. It appears that she was surrendered to the shelter by her owners for reasons unknown to us. She is SPAYED already and up to date on all vaccinations. She currently weighs about 66 lbs. She knows the "sit", "shake" and "speak" commands already and is a very quick learner. She has her first parvo combo (DAPP) vaccine. This is PESTO! (Shelter # 08021) He is an about 10 month old Terrier mix male that is available for adoption through the Levelland Animal Shelter. He came into the shelter as a stray, no one came to claim him so he is now ready for adoption. He currently weighs about 25 lbs. This is MEMPHIS! (Shelter # 08014) He is an about 3 year old Husky male that is available for adoption at the Levelland Animal Shelter. He weighs 55 lbs. and is already neutered. His family home sustained damage from a fire so he was surrendered to the shelter. He is very sweet and okay with other dogs, but doesn't like cats. He is a gorgeous dog and would make a great walking partner.
