Hi friends!

I would not ordinarily do this but I have two kittens that need a special place to land. They came to the rescue I work with in a traumatized litter of 5 and the two of them just seem to be less interested in people than the other three. Don't get me wrong, they enjoy a good pet, just when they choose it, not necessarily when you choose to give it. As you can imagine the average family with 2.5 kids is not going to tolerate house ferals for indefinite period of time, so I am looking for a special barn to place them in as I have spent the last three months trying to let them know that people are pretty great all the time.

They are neutered, up to date with FVRCP (3 total) and have had Rabies, and microchipped; ready to go until next summer!
I am happy to tell you more about them if you have a nice feed room or tack room where they could hang out for a few weeks and need some handsome dudes added to your entourage.

Hey guys! I know every one struggles to find storage options for blankets to keep them dry, dust and bug free. Well, this could be an option. I was digging around Amazon looking for bale bags and alternatives for those, it's not big enough for a whole bale, but it could easily accommodate half a bale.
It's made of a plastic like tarp fabric with four handles, a window to see what's inside and a label pocket. Comes in a few colors and different size multipacks. I was able to put a size 80 sheet, medium and heavy w/hood in one and zip it completely. Picture in comments

Good Monday morning to ya! It is the middle of August 🤯gulp! Its fine, I'm fine, everything is fine. Seriously. I will probably stop work around midday on the 30th to try to get packed for my trip to Tulsa, because if I don't have a co-pilot I will be following Ricky like a little caboose again, whether I need to be there on September 2nd or not. I am not about a 13 hour drive 100% alone like that, thanks.🐴🛻

If you have already been billed you may have noticed that also attached to your invoice email was a document called "Get ready for pickup" you may or may not think this applies to you, I can assure you it applies to everyone, but I attached it for a couple of reasons and none of them are personal toward anyone in particular, really, well kinda, but everyone is getting it, so not really.🥸
1. the QR code for the electronic inventory is on that doc and I paid a lot of money for that thing, so let s use it, it is so easy to read!

2. Some people are still confused that they need to label their own stuff and how that needs to be done. So now it is in writing to refer to, in your possession.

3. no bags. no bindings I AM ALLERGIC to all kinds of mold, horses and pollen(among other things). I picked up some blankets that had been tied up in cute little bundles this spring that had already started to mold and I was sick for days, like I felt like I almost had pneumonia. Please, please, please don't do this to me.🤧🫶(BTW I am taking immunotherapy shots, two otc allergy pills and nasal spray and still was sick!)

I am really trying to get everyone who might be impacted by my absence September 2-14 done before I leave. If you are bringing stuff now, please know that I will do it if I can, but it probably won't be done before the end of September, maybe even a week or so into October. I don't think the weather is going to cut out that quick anyway, but we never know here in this beautiful valley! 🍂🍁

happy 4th of July!

i know it seems like not much has been happening, but I really have been slaving away!

you see, when I came up with this plan to reduce empty trips up or down I81, I made a strict schedule for those farms, with a two week turn around so I could get them and get them done. Which means, for those who are closer to home, you kind of get pushed off except when there is time and space to fit yours in around theirs, which there usually is. at least to get washed anyway...

Anyhoo... those are done, basically, for the season and I am done disappearing to horse shows too, until September; so I will be back to faithfully cranking out farms left and right like I was in April and May.

there was a miscommunication at Scots Ridge, so I will be stuffing my van chock full sometime next week while also returning a portion of mediums and heavies there.

Cedar Valley and anyone who dropped off there is almost done washing and inspection/repairs will commence today.

Tierney Willoughby, Karen MCGowan, Jennifer Bailey, Teresa Sears and Castle HIll are next if memory serves

Please never hesitate to message me if you need your things back by a specific date or think it is taking too long, whatever. I believe I have improved the process a lot in the last couple of years, but there is always room for improvement!

Let's jump on outa here and get to work!

Hellooo!

Its been kind of a rocky start to the season but I am determined, yeah we'll go with that. I have been unable to wash anything, not once, but twice, due to shipping delays by the Nikwax warehouse near Detroit. If anyone knows anyone in the Detroit suburbs looking for work, I bet they are hiring 🥸. I am roaring along and ordered soap way before it's needed this past Tuesday so it shouldn't happen again 🤞🏼

Tolbert Equestrian is all washed and a fair amount are packed already those will be delivered on June 16 on my way to Mountain View...

I have pulled Westwind and they are about half washed at this moment (2pm 6/4) as per thier requested return by date of before 6/29.

If I have time, I will start Cedar Valley and a few single person drop-offs as they would be next in line, when I return from my horse show and get back to work on Monday.

I am up early so I am going to go over this quickly...I hope🤣

Inventory is important so I can find your blanket when there are 900 of them in the shed. If you don't know what color or brand it is, I am not sure how you think I am supposed to....its also very important IF your tape comes off so I know what is yours and what you want me to do, because as much as I love all of you, I can't afford to waterproof blankets you didn't want to pay for.

It is also important so I know you have a new email address, mailing address, or phone number. You know all those pesky questions at the top? I like to know how to reach you, in case i have questions, or you don't want to pay me, or I want to send you a Christmas card.

The blanket description part is for the blanket, not your horse. God love ya, I only want your horses name if you want to tell me. I will write it on the tag.

Also, lazy people, ONE blanket per line. I make notes for EVERY BLANKET. I know a lot of farms have 16 navy Amigo sheets that are all size 78. We'll, guess what? I write 78 Amigo sheet navy 500 times every summer, it won't kill you to write it 16 times.

For the record, on the old school inventory I intend for you to circle the item under the line where it says Wash/Wash and Re-proof/Repair the line is where I write my notes about repairs for billing 😉

Please label the FRONT, LEFT SIDE OF YOUR HORSE BLANKET.
THIER LEFT, NOT YOURS.

Please do not wrap the tape around anything. Stick it to a buckle not fabric, it will certainly fall off if it is stuck to the fabric. PLUS, I NEED TO BE ABLE TO FIND IT.

A small piece, your name, wash or wash / proof (or wax) is all you need. I promise on Bella it will stay. I will not struggle or stop to cut it off. If I can't pluck it easily, I just won't.
