Gaining Ground Farm OFFERING CSA,GRASS FED BEEF, ORGANIC VEGETABLES, CUT FLOWERS IN ASHEVILLE, NC AREA Our farm is located in Leicester, NC on 70 acres of family farm land.

We are Anne and Aaron Grier. The farm is home to a herd of Red Devon cattle, two Jersey milk cows, a flock of chickens, and several acres of vegetable growing bottom land. we strive to raise food that is both healthier for all of us to eat, and which has been raised in a manner easier on the environment.

Crew 2025! The last landscape has been changing and we have been making adjustments all season long to keep up. It’s been exhausting but these folks have been showing up everyday in all the weather to grow honest clean food. We could not be more fortunate to work and laugh along side them. Field grown heirloom tomatoes using organic practices are a labor of love, not a business decision. Though the fruit looks nothing like the “perfect” tomatoes you find in the grocery store, they are unrivaled in flavor and nutrition. The green shoulders and some cracking are indications of sweet juicy goodness inside. The toads and indigo bunting nests are a joyous gift to us while we’re harvesting. Tomatoes will be plentiful for a few weeks. Come see us and !
