Happy 3rd Birthday to our Carla/Jackson boys Grimm and Toretto!👻🎂

In this past year both boys have passed all their health testing. Grimm earned his breed championship and passed his CGC, TT and SBA testing. Toretto is close to earning his breed championship as well competing in very few shows to do so!

I love both of these boys and hope to see what they can produce in the coming years! They bring great bone, height, movement, and wonderful temperaments to the table.

Grimm and Toretto are available to select ladies via fresh chilled and side by side. Grimm is also stored and available frozen.

The little bats🦇 were exposed to their first choir practice at just hours old. We will see how long it takes for them to become active participants 🎶

We are thrilled to formally introduce Portia and Zacar’s litter of little bats! These seven puppies arrived a couple days early during the full Hunter’s Moon, on the week of Halloween and finished up delivering on the “Day of the Dead for pets”. So nothing seemed more fitting than a spooky theme! We always joke Portia looked like a little bat, so naturally we deemed her puppies as such. Follow along to watch their journeys as they grow and start their lives!

🌕🦇Say hello to NewMoon’s Frickin’ Bats!🦇🌕

We are thrilled to formally introduce Portia and Zacar’s litter of little bats! These seven puppies arrived a couple days early during the full Hunter’s Moon, on the week of Halloween and finished up delivering on the “Day of the Dead for pets”. So nothing seemed more fitting than a spooky theme! We always joke Portia looked like a little bat, so naturally we deemed her puppies as such.

Formally known as NewMoon’s “Frickin’ Bats” (if you aren’t familiar with the viral clip we will attach the link below 😂). We named each of these pups after a different species of bat, and because we like to be over the top we will educate everyone on the bat they are representing! If you so wish to read about them… perhaps we will also drop some bat facts along the way for rumination purposes 😉

**At this time all bats have homes waiting for them! We have some upcoming spring breedings planned and a few breed quality pups coming soon! If any families have a change of plans the first thing we review is puppy applications on our website.**

Sneak peak📸
Portia/Zacar- 10.26.26

Our newest NewMoon kids arrived in a hurried fashion under the beam of the Hunter’s Moon 🌕🍂🐾

Portia was absolutely stellar, delivering 7 healthy puppies in 3 hours and 15 minutes time. A delivery every breeder dreams of. She is taking to motherhood as if she’s experienced this all before. We will have a more formal announcement and individual photos in the coming days!

Born to be spooky 👻

Hestia(Vesta/Chancelor, 7 months) and her mom Vesta(Hayden/Zane) honing in on their inner spookage 🍂

We are happy to report Hestia, her brother Omen and sister Sunny all passed their holter monitor tests this week!

10/22/2026

It looks like Portia is expecting around 7 puppies this coming week with Zacar!

Unedited and unmarked X-ray below for fun. We can’t wait to meet these pups and are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that they all arrive safely🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

10/20/2026

The craziness is always rolling here! We are checking some boxes before Portia’s puppies arrive and starting to holter monitor the Vesta/Chancelor kids!

We put the monitor on Sunny at Barktoberfest a few weeks ago and just tossed it on both Hestia and Omen today. We should have their results all back by Thursday 🤞🤞🤞 And then we only have one more pup to go to round out the litter.

If you aren’t familiar with holter monitoring it is a crucial test that in our opinion, all Shiloh puppies should go through. They wear a monitor for 24 hours to show that they are clear of an electrical issue called GSDIVA that can creep up on adolescent Shilohs. We will attach a link below that goes over everything more thoroughly if interested. But it’s an easy and cost effective way to guarantee your puppy is healthy, and if something is caught it is very easy to manage.

Hestia and Omen (who lives at Hawk Ridge Shilohs) are both future hopefuls in our program, and this is the first crucial step in our health testing process!

Let’s play a guessing game! 🧐 How many puppies do you think Portia will have?

Portia is growing by what seems the second! The top photo was taken 10/7 at day 42 and the bottom taken just 8 days later (10/15) at day 50 gestation.

Hard to believe she’s grown since 😬 We have an X-ray this Thursday to try to get a good count of what to expect next week!

We are so proud of how this boy has matured and at just under 3 years old he is really starting to shine! Grimm is a sweet, coy boy that has a calm and loving demeanor despite his name. At around a true 30” tall, he yields great size and height. He has wonderful bone, great pasterns, lovely flowing movement and a head to die for. Throughout his puppyhood he has been a very unproblematic and enjoyable boy.

He has recently earned his breed championship and a few breed ring awards as well. We recently got him collected and stored and he gave 4 BILLION as his count with very high motility. Our record breaker in that area for sure! 😂

Grimm is available to select females via side by side, fresh chilled or frozen. He is located in NE Pennsylvania.
