Here is your official guide to this year's Watkins Glen Waterfront Festival & Cardboard Boat Regatta!🌊 Bring your friends and family and join us for a day of lakeside fun on Saturday, June 20th from 11am - 7pm at Seneca Harbor Park!

We've got a busy day planned with something for the whole family. At 11am, check out the merch tent and shop Vendor Row. Listen to sea shanties with Uncle Joe and Fiddlin' Renee at noon. Stop by the Family Zone for free family fun, including a new sensory tent! Don't miss the iconic Cardboard Boat Regatta at 2pm, with awards and the raffle pull to follow. Grab some dinner and enjoy The Sweats from 4-7pm to end the day!

If you know me, you know I don’t jump to make big decisions without a lot of thought…and I can promise you…ALOT of thought went into the decision to open a brick & mortar storefront. So many ideas…so many plans. From that very early planning stage, this “little” gift shop of mine has always had a simple mission: to connect with our community and support local makers.

Many of you know our story…signing our lease 2 weeks before the pandemic shutdown. This meant placing a lot of our plans on a back burner, with limitations on gathering. Little by little, we added local makers, workshops, and larger events to begin living out that mission.

6 years later, my heart is so full when we have days like yesterday. We had the most lovely group of talented makers, popping up in the shop with their beautiful creations. Each one making connections with the others, as well as our community who stopped in to visit.

Not just yesterday, but Saturday too! Seeing our regulars who popped in for the bakery, along with new faces that came for the book bar ~ this is what it’s all about!

I left both days with a smile on my face and in my heart (and an exhausted body, but I’m not complaining 😂).

So, THANK YOU.

This formerly neglected mama is now living her best life thanks to Brindle Buddies & Friends…when not sunbathing on the deck (can’t be for more than 5 mins today 🥵), you can find her on a bed in a nest she makes of blankets. She’s so comfy it’s hard to get her to come out to eat 🤦🏻‍♀️
