I wanted to give a big shout out to Bob’s Ace Hardware in Leesville. They were open yesterday despite being without electricity and their employees (with head lamps on their heads) were busy helping all the customers passing through their doors. That my friends is true dedication and service. I’m more than grateful for a business like that that’s always willing to go that extra mile to make sure folks have just what they need in a crisis such as this one.

To all of my customers: This is one of the hardest posts as a business owner I’ve ever made. Please read this carefully and share the information accurately.

In April of 2025, I will be semi-retiring after 45 years of being in this business as a hobbyist, part-timer and/or full-timer.

Moving forward, I will only be taking in fish to mount.

All mounts currently in my shop will be completed and returned to all of my customers during this time.

There is no need to panic or blowup my phone. I have a serious backlog to catch up and I do try to take my time on each piece so that each of you have a lifetime trophy to be proud to display.

My decision was made based on several personal health issues I’ve experienced over the last couple of years that impaired my ability to work full days for months on end. Inflation has driven supply and shipping costs through the roof which also plays a huge roll in this decision.

Thank each of you for your patience while I work hard to get everything caught up and returned to you. And thank you for your overwhelming patronage from the start. I love and appreciate you all.
