🐾 FOUND DOG 🐾

This sweet red Pit Bull mix was found at Lake Community Pet Clinic this afternoon. He is currently safe at our clinic. He is an intact male and was found on our property.

If you recognize him or are his owner, please contact Lake Community Pet Clinic as soon as possible.

If he is not claimed by 5:00 PM tomorrow, he will be transferred to the Lake County Animal Shelter.

National Pet Parents Day is celebrated annually on the last Sunday of April. This day honors the bond between pet parents and their companions.

All Pet Parents should have a plan in place for their pets for when we are no longer here to care for them. Our program, Forever Home Pet Trust, provides a location where pets can live out their lives in homes with staff members and other pets.

Located on eight acres next to the shelter property, we have a residence for dogs in the program, where Executive Director Debbie Butler resides and a residence for cats where Program Manager Heidi Gaumet resides. This program is for those who would like to know where their pets will be for the remainder of their lives and they will be cared for like our own pets.

Oreo came back to see us, and he’s not such a little guy anymore. 🖤🤍 Now almost 6 months old, he’s grown so much and is doing great! We love getting to watch our sweet patients grow up. 🐾

We got to meet the cutest little patient this week at Lake Community Pet Clinic 💙

This is Fairy, a tiny poodle who came in for her very first visit 🐾 She was a little curious, a little cuddly, and honestly just the sweetest girl the whole time.

First visits can be a big moment for puppies, so we always try to make it as calm and positive as possible, and Fairy did amazing! 🥹

We’re so happy to have her as part of our clinic family 💕

Looking to foster? 🐾 Cat Protection Society FL is looking for loving foster families this kitten season. Reach out to them to get involved! 🍼❤️

Kitten Season is just around the corner, and the Cat Protection Society in Eustis, Florida is preparing for an influx of orphaned kittens who will need bottle‑feeding and short‑term fostering until they reach an adoptable age, typically around 5–6 weeks.

We are actively looking for caring individuals or families who would like to be added to our foster list for the upcoming season. The shelter provides all veterinary care, milk replacer, bottles, and supplies — fosters simply provide the hands‑on care, time, and love these tiny kittens need to thrive.
