Been slacking on introductions. We've had these six since the beginning of May, but they were all sick with calicivirus, so we don't have many pictures. Introducing mamma Skit, her oldest daughter Cosmo, and her younger children Sangria, Daiquiri, Martini, and Mai Tai.

Cosmo had an emergency C-section last night and now we have 6 more drinks to come up with. She's a great momma, and with my help, the new nuggets are gaining weight. Considering their rough start, things are looking good so far.

It's been a while!!

Ember went to a great home and immediately became besties with the young cat they already had. As always, a bittersweet but welcome outcome.

Ed and Bon are *still* on the hunt for a ship of their own - who wants some fun Pirate Catten?

And, welcome to the Slang Gang - an absolute perfect momma and her 5 babies all with hockey slang names: Beauty, Chirp, Biscuit, Deke, Apple, and Celly.

Ember update!!!

This little cutie is a perfect baby - gets along well with all the other cats, loves snuggles, has a MASSIVE purr, and a tiny tail that barely touches her front foot when in 'standard cat sit'. Now that her enuculation has healed, pictures show off her adorableness vs. her incision.

New foster alert - welcome Ember!

We seem to be specializing in pirate cats lately. Ember and her litter mate survived a house fire at a site we were gearing up to TNR. We're trying to save her eye, but we will see. She's skittish, but loves a good petting session once she relaxes.

Humane Society of Loudoun County has Ember and her sister Cinder (who is more social and with another foster)
Loudoun Community Cat Coalition is working to trap the remaining cats who survived and living in the remnants of the house and surrounding area.
