I have an announcement and it’s so bitter-sweet for me! Some of you already know, but I haven’t “officially” told everyone, but I will be moving to North Carolina after we get married! This was something we have been talking about and planning for a while and Christopher has taken a great position, so we are very excited to start our married life together there!

And for those of you that have asked about my pet care business, my family is planning on taking over for me here and I will carry it on into North Carolina with me! Like I said, this is so bitter-sweet for me as I will greatly miss all of my wonderful clients here! But I am so excited to start a new adventure with my soon-to-be husband and I am so excited to follow and support him in North Carolina!

I will be moving immediately after the wedding and still accepting my established clients for bookings until Monday, October 1st. I will be personally contacting each client to let them know contact information for my family members who will be taking over for me and get them all set up!

I am SO thankful to everyone who has supported my business here in Albany and Leesburg for the last 8 years! I can’t believe how much it has grown and I am so excited to expand and meet new clients and pets! This definitely isn’t the end and I have so many hopes for the future of Wags ‘n Whiskers! Hey everybody! July has been a busy month! I wanted to let you guys know I will be “out of office” starting Wednesday, July 25th possibly through Monday, August 6th! If anything changes I will update! Thank you all so much for your loyalty to Wags ‘n Whiskers!

Hey guys! Summer is off to a great start here at Wags ‘n Whiskers! I know I’ve been a little MIA lately, so I wanted to post to let y’all know all is well! If you’re looking for pet sitting this summer, give me a call! I am currently booking for July and would love to put you on my calendar!

Also - I will be “out of office” this coming weekend (June 29th - July 2nd) and back Tuesday for a full week of furry faces and fun! I appreciate you all so much for supporting this business! Looking forward to a great rest of the summer!

Hey everyone! Since it’s been a while and I have new likes and followers, I thought it was time to share a little bit about myself and the services I offer! I have been serving the Albany/Leesburg area for almost 7 years now! I have seen a lot of growth in the last couple of years and I am so excited to continue to be able to serve all of you!

My name is Meggan Hunnewell. I am 25 years old. I have worked in vet clinics and pet spas and have a lot of experience with all kinds of pets! One big reason why I started my business, was to offer a more relaxing experience for animals when their owners went away. I have seen the affects of boarding animals and while every pet is different, most do not have a very pleasant experience! I didn’t realize how true this was until I started offering my services and everyone would tell me how much happier their pets were when I cared for them, as opposed to being boarded. This had a huge impact on me and motivated me to continue growing! Now, here I am almost 7 years later and I still hear the same thing!

I have been an animal lover since I was a little girl. I was the child that always wanted to take in every stray animal on the side of the road. I honestly, haven’t changed much. I drive my closest ones crazy, stopping to try and help a stray or lost animal, but that’s just who I am.
I, personally have two rescue cats, a German Shepherd and a Netherland Dwarf rabbit! All of which I love with all my heart! I have two wonderful parents, one amazing older brother, a sweet sister in law who has made me an aunt to one (almost two!! 😍) beautiful nieces, and a loving boyfriend, all who support me in my small little business! In my spare time, I enjoy going on antique hunts, refinishing my finds, any think home decor, sketching, spending time with my loved ones, playing and love on my crazy pets 🐶🐱🐰

Like I said before, I serve the Albany/Leesburg area. Here are some of the services I offer:

In home pet sitting (pet care service in the comfort of your home. *most popular service)
