Louie is a sweet senior soul who has spent 13 years loving his person.

But now, through no fault of his own, he finds himself in the shelter, wondering where his family went.

He’s calm, gentle, and incredibly loving.

No wild zoomies or chewed-up shoes — just a loyal companion who wants to curl up beside you and feel safe again.

He’s house-trained, well-mannered, and thrives on the little things: a soft blanket, a kind touch, and someone to sit with him when the world feels too loud.

Yet every day, people walk past his kennel.

They glance in, smile politely, and then move on to the younger dogs — the bouncy puppies, the playful teens, the ones full of energy & excitement.

While Louie still sits quietly watching.

Waiting. Hoping & willing to give anything just to be someone’s dog again.
