Phil really enjoyed his session. On top of combining Masterson Method and Lazaris Nerve Release, we added some tuning forks to see how he would respond… He loved them! At one point even walked over to the forks that were sitting on the railing, nuzzled them, as if to say “more please!”

I just had the pleasure to attend a Sozo Equine, LLC Myofascial Release & Equine Nervous System 2 day immersive class at the beautiful Shining River Ranch.

It was an awesome group of like minded ladies and our hosts Kelli Worley and Georgia were amazing as always! And a of course thank you and big hugs to the horses that were the best Professors we could ever ask for! Integrative Equine Bodywork thank you for helping to facilitate this whole thing as well!

If you are thinking of attending one of Ciara’s in person classes, I 💯 highly recommend YOU DO! Her passion and enthusiasm she has for teaching and helping horses radiates!

Thank you for a wonderful learning experience Ciara!

Consistency is where the magic really happens!✨

One bodywork session can create a release…but consistency is what creates lasting changes.

As Jim Masterson says, it’s like “peeling layers of an onion.”🧅

✨ Each session reveals something new.
✨Each release is like the nervous system doing a small reboot.
✨And over time, those layers begin to unwind in a way that simply isn’t possible in a one-off session.

And just like every onion 🧅…
every horse is different. 🦄

Some horses respond quickly and you may see significant changes in a short period of time (like in these photos ). Others may take a little more time, a little more consistency, as their body learns how to let go and trust the process. Neither is better or worse, it’s just their path.

But when bodywork becomes part of a routine that’s when things really start to shift:

– The body holds changes longer
– Compensation patterns don’t rebuild as quickly
– Movement becomes softer and more efficient
– The nervous system begins to trust and release

Over time, you won’t just see it, you will start to feel it under saddle and within the partnership with your horse.

What stories do you tell yourself about your horse?

🎙️ Lately on the podcast, something really interesting has been happening.

Different guests…
Different backgrounds…
Different areas of expertise…

And yet they keep circling back to the same idea.

Awareness.

Not the “pay attention harder” kind.

The kind where you actually notice what’s happening with your horse without rushing to judge it or fix it.

In my conversation with Ellen Peebles, we talked about all the things we simply can’t know until we learn how to see them.

Elaine Hayes shared powerful examples of how awareness alone can completely change what’s happening in a horse’s body.

Then Angie Morin spoke about the importance of observing horses without immediately assigning meaning or correction.

And in this week’s episode, Kim Hallin dives even deeper into that same theme.

Different people.
Same thread.

It’s been incredibly validating — not because it proves a point — but because it reminds me that so many thoughtful horse people are arriving at the same realization:

There are things about horses we were never taught to notice.

And once you see them… you can’t unsee them.

That’s really what Reconnect, Rebuild, and Ride with Heart (RRR) is about.

Not more techniques.
Not more pressure.

Just learning the things most of us were never taught to look for in the first place.

Because once you see those things…

Everything with your horse starts to change.
