In helping sore muscles and joints?

Prince has been a true advocate for my experience in expanding my massage therapy and we’ve seen many benefits from it!

Going on 8 weeks of using equi-tape and we’ve seen almost immediate changes in his back (longissimus Dorsi) reducing pain and inflammation all while supporting and preventing further injury!

While being stalled he regularly gets windpuffs, once I applied the tape within the first 4 hours I noticed swelling reducing an increase in mobility!

This tape has been a game changer for this pony!🙌🏻

My favorite part about massage therapy is seeing the relaxation a simple technique can do for the horses!
There is many benefits in having your horses massaged!! such as improving the disposition of your equine, restoring mobility to injured muscle tissue! As well as enhancing muscle tone and increasing range of motion!

When the pressure is increased, the measured resistance also increases. When the pressure is withdrawn, the resistance is reduced.

How is this incorporated with horses?
Let me explain…

Happy is a 6 year old mare that was introduced to me with some behavioral issues.
After a lesson, I’ve pin pointed each issue. Happy struggles picking up her left lead and tends to kick out when asked to lope off.
It took some time to check her over, i.e. stretching her legs, checking for sore muscles, and finally her teeth! Happy only has one wolf tooth! Can you guess which side this particular wolf tooth sits? Her left!
This makes the bit off set and causes a lot of discomfort when the riders signals are being sent through the bit!
When pressure was applied she resisted.(for a good reason)
Luckily, this is an easy fix such as going to a bitless bridle or simply removing the wolf tooth.
