✨ Frankie – Reliable, Fun, and Ready for His Next Partner ✨
For a rider with a good sense of humor who wants to do a little bit of everything, Frankie is a true catch.
Frankie is a 16-year-old gelding suited for the 2’0”–2’6” with the right rider. He is incredibly reliable and consistent—he goes the same whether he’s been ridden every day or has had a couple of weeks off. Last year, his owner even used him as a flat horse until she was eight months pregnant, which speaks volumes about his steady nature.
Before joining our program, Frankie competed in Novice-level cross-country and also fox hunted. He won at Rocking Horse Horse Trials and hunted with the Massbach Hounds. A few years ago, he transitioned into the hunter lifestyle and has taken to it very well. While he does not yet have extensive show miles in the hunters, he shows great potential and would also be suitable for some low-level cross-country.
Frankie is quiet, safe, and sensible, but he is not for a total beginner. He thrives with a rider who has an educated hand and leg and rides confidently.
He is a fun, honest partner who enjoys having a job and taking care of his rider.
