Our long time duck Lewey (only survivor of our first trio of ducks Lewey Huey and Dewey) lost her mate Jelly bean a month ago. He had been with her for almost 3 years. It was just two of them bc the other ducks werent as smart as Lewey. Any duck I had that stuck with Lewey survived bc she was smart

So I brought her home some babies but she didnt seem all that thrilled. She looked at me then them like what the heck are these things doing here?! I thought she might like the babies bc she seemed to be nesting lately but with no eggs.

Ebby suprised me with a little ram lamb today! I didn’t think she got pregnant this year but I guess she just got caught later in the season

Finally the last babies have been born! Lammie had 2 little girls around 3.30 am. I happened to check the camera just in time to catch the second one being born.

I hired a new supervisor today! She’s keeping an eye on my husband. Making sure he digs those holes the right depth and tamps down those post nice and good.

What she’s really thinking is we don’t want any more stinking fences! I’m gonna figure out how to wreck this man’s plans!
