We provide 24/7 care for neonatal kittens(newborns 0–4 weeks old) who can’t eat or survive on their own.

We work to end suffering, educate on spay/neuter & TNR, and serve as the neonatal branch of Fortunate Ferals.

Mary Beth stopped by the post office this morning to take care of routine nonprofit business, and instead, we were met with something that completely stopped us in our tracks.

We want to take a moment to sincerely thank 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 for an 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 $𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to Fortunate Ferals’ Trap-Neuter-Return program.

Because of this gift, we are able to provide 𝟐𝟎𝟎 additional TNR vouchers through our workshops.

That means 200 more cats spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped…preventing more kittens from being born into already overwhelming conditions, and allowing cats to live without the constant stress of fighting, mating, and survival!!

TNR isn’t easy work.

It takes time, consistency, education, and advocacy.

But it works.
𝐓𝐍𝐑 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬!

And it works best when people are willing to stand behind it.

This donation didn’t just support a program..it supported the people doing the work, the caretakers trying to do right, and the cats who don’t have a voice of their own.

We know The Hubert Charitable Foundation is a private organization, and while we will be sending our thanks directly, we felt it was important to share this moment.

🎄✨ 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐚 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 ✨🎄

Ever since the tree went up, her favorite place has been right underneath it, stretched out in the warm sunny spot…
which honestly surprises no one who knows her.

Peeka has been soaking it all in, enjoying the quiet moments, the glow of the lights, and the simple comfort of being in a home.

She hopes everyone has a peaceful holiday, a happy heart, and a wonderful year ahead.

Here’s to more sunshine, more cozy spots, and lots of love in the year to come ❤️💚

𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫… 👀

Yes…she’s still here, and if I could use one word to describe her, it would be 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫.

Peeka is truly one of a kind.

She’s spunky, confident, curious, and absolutely marches to the beat of her own tiny drum.

She’s sweet and bold, affectionate and independent…not spicy in a difficult way…just delightfully different.

I’ve mentioned this subtly before, but I have a special needs child, and Peeka has chosen her as her person.

The bond between them is honestly beautiful.

Peeka will happily go curl up in her room, hang out with her, and allow things she would never tolerate from me 😅.

If I try to scoop her up for cuddle time?
Probably not.
But for her?
Peeka shows up without hesitation.

Now before everyone says it…no, don’t do that to me 😉

We already have a kitty who knows our family well, and we know Peeka has a job to do elsewhere.

This little update is just to say:
Peeka would be a wonderful fit for the right person..maybe a child who needs a confident companion, an older kid, or a family looking for someone spunky to keep them entertained.

She’ll be here a bit longer while she continues learning indoor manners (and figuring out what personal space even is).

Right now she’s all zoomies, all the time..pure chaos, zero hesitation, just vibes.

She’s a firecracker, a comfort buddy, and a tiny soul who connects deeply when it matters most!

Went to Gulf Coast Humane Society today to be spayed and find their forever homes ❤️

We miss them already but we know they are in great hands.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 “𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆” (𝗖𝗞) 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹.

She’s officially decided she is 100% an “indoor kitty” and honestly, she’s still way too young to know how to take care of herself outside. She’s spooky, gentle, and loves nothing more than her cat tree tucked in a quiet corner.

CK adores affection, especially neck scratches (shocking, I know 😅), and she has never once hissed at us. She has let out a tiny growl maybe once…but to be fair, my daughter can be a little enthusiastic when admiring a cat from across the room. CK just prefers calm, soft energy.

Because of that, we think she’d thrive in a home with an older child or a quieter household someone who understands she’s still just a baby herself and has been through a lot.

She is:
✔️ Spayed
✔️ Vaccinated
✔️ Microchipped
✔️ And will get a little vet check before adoption to make sure everything is perfect

This girl is special. She’s sweet, sensitive, and she’s really blossoming as an “indoor kitty.” If you’re looking for a gentle companion who just wants safety, patience, and love…CK might be your match.

“Dara” is living her best life in her new home 🥹

Her mom says she’s gaining weight and she even sent some adorable videos of her playing with toys.

Our hearts are full…she is loved and in the perfect home for her, thank you Jina ❤️

“𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨” will be heading to Gulfcoast in December, hoping to find their forever homes.

Each one is unique in her own little way, but they all share the “professional snuggler” gene.

Ember and Myst are sisters, and Piper has fully stepped into her Big Sister Era…and she wears it perfectly.

These three love each other… and pretty much only each other.

It’s very “you can’t sit with us” energy but not mean girl.

Just saucy, close-knit, and confidently cute… and we love that for them. 😼✨

For now, they’re growing, learning, and figuring out what it means to be a cat…and doing it beautifully. 💖

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝘆! ✨

Our little 𝗕𝗼𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 officially found herself the 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 forever home with 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗮!

A couple of months ago, Jina reached out looking for a special-needs kitty to add to her family… and from that moment, we just 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 Boo was the one for her. 🥹

I have been looking forward to this day for so long.

Jina has been so kind, patient, and flexible…truly a dream adopter.

Tomorrow, she’ll be taking her new girl, now beautifully named 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗮 to the vet, and from there Dara will begin settling into her new life and claiming her cozy corners at home.

People always ask, “𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗴𝗼 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺?”

And the answer is simple:

Because 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.

With me, they recover.
They heal from sickness.
They get strong after surgeries.
They learn to trust again.

But with 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻, they get to truly 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲.

I’m just the get ready lady…here to make kitties better so they can go on to the beautiful futures they deserve.

You’ve found your place.
And we couldn’t be happier for you. 🐾💗

Piper and Ember have become total besties.
