We had such a good weekend at WEC at our first show of the summer! We are so happy we finally got to a show after some bad weather (and our horses not knowing how to swim 😜) forced us to cancel our plans for our first few shows of the summer!

Cam and Testarossa laid down beautiful trips all weekend including a 1st and 2nd in a tough Low Children’s Hunter division, a beautiful round in their first Hunter Derby as a team, and Reserve Champion in the Thoroughbred Hunters!

Vallory and Shanna’s Tennessee Whiskey had wonderful rounds and some great ribbons for their first time showing as a team, coming home with a Champion in the .85 Jumpers!

Regan and Intertwined got back into the show ring with some great rides including a 1st and 3rd in the .75 and .85 Jumpers!

Debi and North Star had quite the weekend with some great teamwork ending the weekend with a Champion in the Intermediate Jr/Am Jumpers (winning 2 out of 3 classes in the division) and throwing up a quick ‘W’ in the .75 Jumpers!

Great job to all horses and riders! We are looking forward to next month!!

Tonks is a 2017 15.3 hh TB mare, recently started her second career in the hunter/jumper world after being a broodmare (never raced!). Tonks is green but learns quick, she is a spicy ride but has a nice, soft mouth and goes in a rubber bit. No buck, rear, spook. W/T/C and jumping small courses with a super easy lead change, she is super brave to the jumps. Has jumped up to 2’9”. Would make a great jumper or eventer. Stands great on crossties and for the farrier, can live inside or out. Does crib.
