Been a busy Spring/ Summer.
Progress, even if in baby steps is still progress.

Miss Valley. Draft cross. Awaiting for a DNA through Texas University. Figured why not?

This beaut was pulled at an auction. She's green and learning. Making progress with each session.

Definitely the boss mare in a herd turnout but learning how to be less pushy with each intervention.

This mare is quite athletic. From a stand still she felt the need to jump the white line fencing shortly after her arrival here. Within a week timeframe she jumped one of the stonewalls and a wheelbarrow when she could have walked around them. Feeling her oats perhaps?

I cannot wait to see someone bring her to her full potential. She just like the other animals here, just loves the attention and soaks it up. ❤

Was a broodmare before she ended up here. She knows what she likes and that is lots of attention and scratches. She's been cleaning up quite nicely. Her hooves need a little work but nothing that time cannot fix with farrier work.
What we know so far for "Cherry." She trailers well, leads, halter broke, did well for the farrier and vet. Pretty near to bomb proof from what we've seen so far. Could care less about dump trucks going by or chainsaw being run 5 feet away. Dogs running and playing. Enjoys a cold hose. Respects the fence. Not herd bound, buddy sour nor barn sour.
