Good morning we have finally gotten everything done. Water electric, ECT.... Still some ongoing but we are up and running!!!
We are offering emergency boarding starting Weds. If you have issues to take care of. And need. Some place to stash them we are offering discounted prices.
We will do this Weds the 28 th, thru Sunday pick up Sunday afternoon.

COYOTE ALERT!!!
ALL Y'ALL KNOW MY GERMAN SHEPHERD, TRUMP. HE'S A VERY SMART DOG, I HAVE TO HAVE TWO LATCHES ON HIS GATE OR HE WILL GET OUT.
THIS MORNING I HEARD HIM GROWLING FEROCIOUSLY AND BARKING FURIOUSLY FARTHER FROM THE HOUSE. CRAP, I FORGOT TO LATCH THE BOTTOM LOCK. I TOOK A FLASHLIGHT AND WENT OUT BECAUSE IT WAS DARK, AND I SAW HIM STANDING OFF WITH A COYOTE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DRIVEWAY. HE KNOWS NOT TO LEAVE MY YARD!! BUT THE COYOTE WAS DOING HIS BEST TO LURE TRUMP INTO THE WOODS CROSS STREET.I YELLED, TRUMP COME.! HE RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY AND CAME BACK TO ME. ABOUT THAT TIME I CAUGHT ABOUT SIX PAIR OF EYES IN THE WOODS ACROSS THE STREET. TRUMP IS A BIG BOY, ALMOST 30 INCHES TALL AND 110 LBS. THE COYOTES WOULD HAVE TORN HIM APART!! WATCH YOUR PETS!!! ITS BREEDING SEASON , AND COYOTES Don't PLAY FAIR!!!!! TEACH YOUR DOG RECALL!!!!

I have always recommended that you put your older dogs back on puppy food. The reason behind this is that people as they age, need more vitamins more minerals more protein in order to keep up an active life. One day I sat there and I said why wouldn't it work for dogs. So I started recommending it ,and guess what it did work. They became more active they gained weight their appetite returned ,they seemed brighter happier. My aunt just called me her Yorkie is getting up there in age and he's been very despondent and hard to get up and down the steps not wanting to play or eat and losing weight. She just called me ,almost in tears explaining that he was back to his normal self he was going up and down the stairs he was bright-eyed he wanted to eat again, his appetite is voracious and he's more aware. I've heard this a few times over the years .and it may not give them a longer life but it makes their quality of life so much better. I've even discussed this with a few vets around our area and they are now recommending it also. sometimes you just got to try. The thing to remember is to mix it with their old food and then slowly remove the old food as you integrate the puppy food this will keep them from getting diarrhea from a food change. It's worked for me over the years I hope it works for you. You have nothing to lose.

This is Ranger, he is a sheltie he stays with us now for boarding. The reason I posted him. Is because we fully believe he is reincarnated from her former dog scout. He's a very happy little soul and just wanted to share him with everybody for Christmas.

Well well well, science has finally caught up with my mixture for getting skunk spray off your dog!!!
They've even gone as far as saying it's the only thing that will actually eliminate the odor. I've been using this recipe for over 35 years, and I got it out of a book from 1920s.
Since skunk breeding season is upon us, and we have stupid dogs lol 😂😂
I will list the recipe along with the instructions for my famous skunk spray off the dog.

The sooner you use this the better it works keep these ingredients on hand during the breeding and the birthing season.
Dogs don't learn 😂😂😂

DO NOT WET THE DOG WITH WATER!!!

Mineral oil, this goes in the eyes before you start just a few drops will do it.

1 quart Hydrogen peroxide 3%,

1/3 cup baking soda.

One teaspoon dishwashing liquid, I like Dawn

1 gal of vinegar

In a larger container ,milk juggle do, mix the peroxide and the baking soda and the dishwashing soap together.
I like to use a squeeze bottle to put this mixture in after mixing for better coverage, while squirting on the dog.
You may have to make more batches depending on the size of your dog.
Don't try to store this mixed!!
It will crawl out of the container!!! 😵‍💫

Soak your dog thoroughly in this mixture.
Rub rub rub rub ,get it to the skin, do this for 10 minutes use a timer, 10 minutes will feel like a year LOL.

Rinse rinse rinse rinse and rinse some more.

Now this is where I add a little ooomph!

I like to finish off with a good vinegar rinse check their eyes make sure they're still covered by the mineral oil if you're not sure add some more.

DO NOT RINSE OFF THE VINEGAR, LET THEM AIR DRY!!
Vinegar restores the pH that the peroxide has taken away makes them less itchy and also vinegar is a good deodorizer.

This formula works really well on all the stuff that the dog rubbed on trying to get the stink off, furniture rugs your clothes your body ,time for a shower 😵‍💫😵‍💫
