Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃

Just a friendly reminder that Lebanon Vet Clinic will be closing at 4pm today and will be closed on November 27th and November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday so our team can celebrate with their families.

We'll be back to our regular hours on Monday, December 1st, from 8 am to 5 pm.

For any urgent matters during our closure, please contact one of our nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

We wish you and your furry family members a safe and wonderful holiday!

When people ask “Do I really need heartworm prevention in the winter? It’s cold out.”- the answer is YES! Mosquitos are still present and still carry disease.
Stopping prevention in December means that all of November was not protected. Heartworm pills protect backwards, not forwards, by killing any baby heartworm microfilaria the pet may have been injected with in the past 4-5 weeks. It’s mid-November and I have killed two indoors this evening. We encourge you to protect your pet year round to ensure adequate heartworm prevention.

We have some exciting work happening today as we prepare for the grand opening of our new Surgical Center!

Our contractor will be on-site to upgrade the main power line to support the larger electrical needs of our new facility.
