Get ready for a reel good time!

Join us for the annual Lebanon Kiwanis Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, June 6, at the Hot Pond, 700 E. Noble Street, Lebanon. This free event is open to children ages 5 to 17 and continues a 33-year tradition of bringing the community together through fun, family-friendly activities.

Event Schedule:
Registration: Begins at 8:00 a.m.
Fishing Begins: 8:30 a.m.
Prize Ceremony: 10:15 a.m. (awards by age group)

What to Bring:
A fishing pole
Bait
An adult (all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Participants will receive a bag of goodies donated by generous local businesses. After the lines are reeled in, kids can enjoy a free shaved ice treat from the Kona Ice Truck and complementary lunch featuring hot dogs and chips!

♥️Time to get those kitties fixed and at a very affordable cost! If you want to grab a neighborhood stray and help the community, now is the time!
Folks with barn cats, just because they are 'barn cats' doesn't mean you should ignore fixing them and taking proper care of them. After all, aren't they working hard for you??

Details:
Date: June 9th
Drop off time: between 8-9 AM
Pick up: between 4:30-5.
Deposit: $50 deposit due at the time of scheduling to hold your spot and is applied to final invoice.
Vaccines: Proof of rabies is required, or available for $25. 💉
🐱Additional services available: FVRCP vaccine $25, FELV vaccine $35, Microchip + registration $25, Flea/tick prevention $10-$25, Combo test $35, Extended/additional pain meds $15, E-Collar $15.

🍻🐾 PUPS & PINTS ADOPTION EVENT 🐾🍻

Join us in 2 weeks for our very first Pups & Pints Adoption Event at Moontown Brewing Company’s brand new Beer Garden! We’re so excited for an evening filled with adorable adoptable dogs, great food, cold drinks, and supporting rescue animals.

Come meet some amazing dogs looking for their forever homes while enjoying dinner and drinks with family and friends. Even better — 10% of all food and beverage sales during the event will be donated back to the rescue!

This is a family-friendly event, and both your 2-legged and 4-legged children are welcome in the beer garden. We’d especially love to see some of our alumni pups come back to celebrate with us!

Whether you’re hoping to adopt, support the rescue, or just spend a fun evening surrounded by dogs and good company, we’d love to see you there. 🐶🍺❤️

For Folks in and around Gary, IN.

‼️‼️‼️ MORE TRANSPORTERS NEEDED ‼️‼️‼️

Our partnership with Gary Animal Control involves facilitating rescue placement for animals in their care, and because of that, we have significantly expanded the network of partnering rescues helping animals from Gary. These partnerships now stretch across Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and even farther into surrounding states.

Because of this, we have animals needing transport from Gary Animal Control weekly, sometimes even daily.

In addition to rescue transports, we also frequently need help:

* Picking animals up from homes in Gary
* Transporting pets to and from spay/neuter appointments
* Returning animals safely back home
* Assisting with emergency or time-sensitive situations

Reliable transportation is one of the biggest pieces of making this entire system work.

While there is no monetary compensation, being a transporter means directly helping save lives and giving animals the opportunity for a new beginning and a better future.
