My nephew completed his service in the Army. He was most recently stationed in Romania, and hearing the news today gives me an even greater appreciation for those serving around the world.

Both are gentle giants with goofy personalities, huge hearts, and the sweetest souls. Being a little derpy is all part of the charm. This fits our favorite 85 pound “Burro” at KCPP, to a tee. ❤️

He leans into you for affection, greets every person like an old friend, and has been described as friendly, cuddly, puppy-like, and always happy. I’m crazy about him. Available for adoption at the main shelter and fee-waived today!

Miss Lady Blue is one of the sweetest little pocket pittie girls you’ll ever meet. Gentle, easygoing, always smiling, and a total volunteer/staff favorite. She prefers to be the queen of her castle, so male dogs only for this babe. She’s 5 years old, 50 pounds, and a huge snuggle bug.

Yoga with pigs, goats, chickens… sign me up! 🐷🐐🐓🌅

What a beautiful night for sunset on the farm with Kansas City Pig Rescue Network- KCPRN. These animals are rescued from all over, and are so gentle, friendly, calm. They just wanted cuddles and snacks between yoga poses. 🧘‍♀️ Happy Apple Cafe was there too, serving vegan food afterwards.

The people here are some of the most caring you’ll ever meet, and great with the animals. Don’t worry if you missed this one, there’s 2 more classes coming up! Tons o’ Friday FUN. 🍀
