To all of my government employee customers, I know that the possible shutdown is weighing heavily on your minds, but let me take one thing off your plate. Your critters will eat! I will run a tab, and only charge half price for your feeders. Just because Washington can not get their heads out of their *** does not mean your reptiles have to suffer. The Kritter shack is and always has been here to make sure the critters eat.

Gonna have a big used cage sale on Saturday the 30th. All the tanks will be priced to move. We are not going out of business, just selling off all my cages to raise money to get some new critters in the shop. Come on by and grab them while they last.

Effective Tuesday February 21 we will be changing our hours to 4-7 pm Monday- Friday Saturday will remain the same 12-6 and Sunday 12-4. I truly apologize for the inconvenience, but as many of you know we are dealing with a lot of changes here. As many of you know, your local pet shop had a big loss last week. Our founder, my partner, and friend Jim Lineker passed away unexpectedly. Jim ran this shop for 30+ years, and provided the Leavenworth critter community with advice, and supplies all along. I am committed to keep his dream alive. But I will admit we are struggling through the transition of his passing. So if we could get y’all to come in and pick up some goodie’s for your critters we would truly appreciate it. All enclosures and tanks are marked 20% off and deals are being made. Come down and see me this weekend. Unfortunately due to bad weather down south we will not have crickets until Tuesday and also we are only dealing in cash at the moment. We really need y’all’s help right now to keep providing the service we have all come to expect from your local Fish Shack. Hope to see everyone this weekend.

We are looking for a couple good workers to join our critter keeping team. Let’s be clear, it’s work, not just playing with the critters. Ain’t high pay , can be flexible( to an extent) on hours. Come talk to me( Bob) on Sunday between noon and three. Need the right people who want to work and earn a place with the pet shop.
