When we get a message that yet another one of our favorite fur baby's had gone to rainbow bridge, we cannot explain how deeply this affects us. To look at every single detail of a dog once a month for 5yrs, I mean deep into their eyes, earn their trust and then see them age and know the inevitable is coming. We receive the message, we cry. A tear falls into fur. We move on to our work in front of us, but we hold them in our hearts forever. We see them in every new puppy that comes in, we connect, we celebrate! And when a family has lost deeply and then send us a new puppy, we find renewed joy with them. What a cycle. To love a dog, it teaches you so much about life. "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold." A lesson in pain but if you stay and understand the cycle, you will see joy again, you just have to move through it. So grateful to be a part of it all💞
