Apple is celebrating her 4th birthday today, so of course we had to spoil her with a new toy! She also got a special treat from the boys. We love when we get to celebrate birthdays with our clients!

The bestest dog ever is back! Apple was our second client when we started this pet sitting gig a year and a half ago and she is also our longest stay ever staying for a whole month last summer. Her owners said she was sad and depressed when she went home last time because she loves our house so much!

Fur-iday Feel Good Story!
Meet Chichi, the cute Shih Tzu. She has been lost for just over 3 years! Her owner had to evacuate another state due to a hurricane and came to Texas with her family and Chichi. She left Chichi for a short period of time with a friend to care for her and she got lost. Nathalia, the owner, spent years looking for Chichi. One day Chichi was found emaciated and with injuries, by a good Samaritan. He cared for her, not knowing she had a microchip. Yesterday, he was speaking with Animal Services and they offered to scan Chichi for a microchip. Chichi's owner was contacted and they were finally reunited!

Need a pet sitter while you travel? Sit, Stay, Slager offers family style boarding, and only accepts 1 client at a time, so your dog is treated like they would be at home! We also can do drop in visits to your house, which is a great option if you have cats and other animals, or if your pups prefer to stay at their own place.

A little about us: We have 2 boys (8 and almost 2) who absolutely adore animals. My husband works from home (you may have seen him riding around on his OneWheel), and I work part time at a preschool during the school year. So aside from an occasional family outing, there is pretty much always someone at home. We have a fenced in back yard, and we love playing outside (more so when it’s not 105* 🥵). We have 1 cat, who is super chill as long as the dog doesn’t try to eat her. 😅

We would love to set up a meet and greet and get to know you and your furry pals! August is starting to fill up for boarding, but we have plenty of drop in spots still open.
