Had a great day yesterday at the River Valley Poultry Show for the first show of the year!

In a strong class of 173 Featherleg:

In the White Card Show, won Best and Reserve Featherleg with a Black Cochin Cockerel and a Bearded White Silkie Hen. The Cochin went on to be Reserve Best of Show, and the Silkie placed 5th Overall

In the Pink Card Show, the Bearded White Silkie Hen earned Reserve Featherleg.

Huge thank you to the judges and show staff for putting on a fantastic event. Congratulations to all the winners!

Finally sitting down to recap this weekend! Had a great time at the Bluesteam Classic Show and was able to bring home Reserve Best of Show on a White Bearded Silkie Pullet!

Thanks to Jacob Bates for your evaluation! And thanks to all the show crew who made this show happen, this show will definitely be a new regular! It is so nice to have another show in the area. Very nice show with great facilities!
