Casually putting out feelers…. Rare opportunity to lease a registered Canadian gelding with a very solid foundation. Exxon makes friends wherever he goes. Honest boy, would be the class clown if he was a person. Will test a new or inexperienced rider but once you have his trust and respect, he is game for anything with unlimited try. 14.3hh, 8 y/o gelding with show experience. Don’t let his size fool you, he takes up leg nicely and is a powerhouse. He’s 1200 lbs and has his own motor when he’s enthusiastic about his job! He’s got that typical Canadian presence and will get you noticed in a crowd.

-Gets bored with repetition, loves variety
- H/J experience through 2’ to 2’3”…. Given his size and build I don’t see him going much higher than that but he is forward to the jumps
- trail riding machine, does like to show off in groups and lead the way, but not out of control
- no bite/kick, has never bucked anyone off but has been known to throw in a celebratory little buck here and there!
- easy to catch, handle and load, trailers perfectly. Not phased by new locations.
- started neck reining, working on his stop! He’s not going to win any barrel racing but is pretty eye catching in western tack… I could see him competing in Ranch Riding.

$250/month for 1/2 lease, negotiable if you have solid show plans and/or are interested in pitching in with barn chores. Preference for someone in a program or willing to take lessons. Would consider offsite care lease for the right situation
